Soft Latch Circuit Project - Its kinda backwards!!
« on: December 20, 2012, 01:17:33 am »
To keep a long story short: I have assembled the circuit pictured below. It works beautifully, EXCEPT for that fact the circuit immediately latches upon introduction of the source power.

It is my desire to have the circuit, upon initial introduction of voltage (power), be in the unlatched state until the switch contact is closed.

Any suggestions or solutions.

Your power supply is connected backwards.

Also, you are missing a diode across the relay to stop the inductive kickback from frying the transistors.
Good enough is the enemy of the best.
