| How to control DC 30 amps and pneumatic central lock valve |
| (1/1) |
| tlhsglm:
Hi fellows, 1- I have to control(just on/off) a mini compressor, 12v 21 amperes. What is the fastest way to do this? 2- I will use a valve that drives 2 cylinders. That valve has a specialy, it have central locking, when i lift the load with cylinders, i will lock the valve to prevent load go down. This is important, i dont want compressor to work always.when i want the load to go down, i will simply make valve to stop locking. Is anybody work with this valves? How can i do that?Valve is 12v 4W. |

Some more information will be needed about the valve and what exactly you are looking for to control it, but for 12V 30A I would either use a Solid State Relay or a contactor. What are you using for process control, ie: do you have a PLC or are you planning to use an arduino or is this entirely discrete controls(pushbuttons and limit switches)? |

30A 12v is well within MOSFET territory if you want solid state. But SS relay is also option |
