How to create a simple HV PWM generator
« on: January 05, 2024, 03:46:43 pm »
Hi,

I would like some help in creating a safe but high-frequency (as much as is possible) HV generator using some simple components. I know I need a signal generator, a gate driver and possibly some isolation. Can anyone provide some reference or a circuit they have come across that is able to do this?

400 Vpp and up to 10 MHz (maybe less) would be ideal.

Patience you must have, my young Padawan. Have patience and all will be revealed.

 :-DD

Patience is a weak point for sure. I asked Chat GPT but wondering if anyone has had any experience building one, or pointers on what to consider.

You have not mentioned power, or loads, but 400V at 10MHz is a RF transmitter.
Your title mentions PWM, but you give no info on what range or step size.

This also looks like a duplicate thread.  :--

I was thinking the same and smiling to myself what might happen once this would go operational
