Hello everyone, I would like to ask why is the type two compensator different from the error amplifier in the video (Figure is shown below) compared to Figure 1. Based on Figure 1, the Vo is connected to form a loop with Ve whereas the video in PE# 56 Vref is connected with Ve to form a loop. Is it the same? Thank you in advance.

The error amp provides "proportional control" of the converter.
But the converter has a complex phase and frequency response.
To compensate for this you need to compensate the phase and frequency repsonse of the feedback loop.
