Here's my opinion:
Don't re invent the wheel.
Just take any of the many improved circuits in the big thread, chose the cheapest design, components and PCB, plus a suitable case, best is a double shield design, and just assemble the whole stuff. Have a look, how I realised the whole assembly, with either the bare reference, or an additional 10V output as well.
The circuit based on Andreas add-ons seems to be the most suitable.
A low noise stabiliser and supply is also required.
You did not say, what's your basic intent, I.e. tinkering only, or just creating a stable reference, so that would determine your proceedings.
