Hi, I am planing to use MFRC522 based module in an application.

As per description, read range is 3 cm.
1) Can anyone explain from which point I need to consider that 3 cm distance?
2) And also please tell how much region of the card should be in that field?
3) Can anyone tell how field is generated for this module?
Please help me in this regard.
