The pinout is documented. |

Hi Tim, there was a guy who converted it to 13.8v DC but he never wrote how he did it with this particular PSU. I opened this up earlier today and everything is packed tightly.. there are about 4 extra PCBs and it has monstrous FETS. These are very powerful and stable PSU. Hence why i grabbed this particular one. I cant find the the company who actually designed or made the PSU so I can take peak at the schematics. Like i said i am willing to pay someone who can assist me to achieve my goal with this PSU. The caps are in an awkward location.. not easy to reach them to drain them |

Hi epossum thank you for your input. I have seen this diagram before. I think i have added the thumbnail of how to get the PSU on. So i am after 2 things. 1. Output voltage increase to 13.8 volts stable under load 2. To prevent the PSU from cutting out due to over voltage. If you believe i can do this from the pins in the diagram, then that is perfect. But i have to be precise as there is very limited space to attach or solder a wire or a resistor on these pins. Thank you in advance. If you can list the parts or components i will need, i will get them from a component store tomorrow and start hacking this. |

Having hacked a 1200W HP to output up to 16V for charging a large 4S pack, there appears to be two OVP mechanisms to defeat. I looked for resistors connected to the output and then tried to figure out what they did. There will be quite a few so be prepared to do a lot of reverse engineering. If there are any comparators in that area, try monitoring the outputs with a scope while turning up the output voltage. |

HI NihaoMike, Dont these PSU usually have OVP IC? I have seen a few vids where the IC pin is shorted to ground with a resistor. This PSU is small and light for the power it packs. Everything is pretty tight inside. This may be simpler than it sounds |
