I'm trying to find pluggable terminals compatible with a set of pins (3.5mm pitch) which are designed to be plugged in to by pluggable screw terminals.

I want something which can plug in to the same sockets as the existing screw terminals, but then instead of having screw terminals has simple header pins which can be slotted through a PCB and soldered to it.

I'm really not sure of the right search term to find them though.

Has anyone got an idea of what parts (series of parts...) might be able to plug in to the same slots as these pluggable screw terminals use, but would then adapt easily to a PCB. I'd like to be able to have such terminals arrayed along the edge of a self-designed PCB, which I could then just plug straight in to the same sort of modules which usually have screw terminals plugged in.

I include an image showing both the shape of the plugable terminal, and the slots they plug in to.

I think I could fairly easily 3D print the outermost area of the plastic housing for these terminals, if it came to it, but that still wouldn't solve where to get exactly the right "barrel" piece (which would then either continue straight to a solderable header pin, or ideally make a 90 degree bend first) to fit the existing pins on the module side.

Thanks

I use this type of terminal a lot and have never seen what you describe.
One option I've done in the past  is to make a PCB with fingers which can be inserted into the screw terminals.

You can get 3.5mm pitch pin headers, which could go into the screw terminals

G'day Infraviolet,

Have a look at the WAGO range as there may be something there that suits.

Phoenix Contact make what you're after.  They are fairly long, but available in both right angle and vertical orientations in the IMC/IMCV series.  I can't find a product series page to link to, but here's an example: https://www.phoenixcontact.com/en-us/products/pcb-header-imc-15-6-g-381-1862616.  If you go to their 'PCB Connectors' category and filter for Pitch = 3.5mm, Contact connection type = Socket, and Product type = PCB Headers you should find them.

ajb, thanks, that IMCV "Mini Combicon IMCV/IMC" series is exactly what I'm looking for. And, it turns out my earlier measure when initially posting this was incorrect, the pitch I'm looking at is infact the more common 3.81mm (the IMC/IMCV's pitch) not 3.5mm, I'd initially measured just one pair of contacts by ruler when quoting, since then I've measured several together and by caliper. By findng the keyword for the IMC/IMCV series, "inverted header" by RS components naming, I also found that Wurth make something similar too, the WR-TBL 3093 series.

Common names:
    3.81mm pluggable terminal blocks
3.81mm Euroblock (although this might refer to the curved-key, not 'T'-shaped key, ones?)
    3.81mm PHOENIX blocks

The other common sizes are 5.08mm and 7.68mm.  There are some incompatible shapes, however, so be careful in all 3 sizes to make sure the male & female match.

Lots of companies make compatible clones of these connectors.

Also, for some bizarre reason 5mm

If I understood correctly what are you looking for FK-MCP 1,5/ 6-ST-3,81 connector seems to be a good match
