Hello, I'm in the progress of sorting and organising all my components. I have this tube with some 16-pin qfn devices. The marking says:
MGA
X124
3CCA
(see attached picture)
My best guess is that it's a Microchip device, but I cannot identify it.

Just before I throw it out, please confirm that it's not a 500USD super FPGA unobtainium device :)

Hi,

it looks like it could be a PIC16F1503(T)-I/MG
Marking: MGA

Thanks Kai,

How did you find it? I didn't have any luck on google.

Re: Separate forum?

There is a sticky in General Chat: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/what_s-this-please-(component-advice)/

I have no problem, though, with separate posts as you did.

It's in the datasheet https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/40001607D.pdf

I think you misunderstand my question - where did he find the link between MGA and PIC16f1503? Or are you suggesting that he just happened to have that specific datasheet open?

I got lucky and google delivered a chinese page smdmark.com where the PIC and the marking code was listed, after this I verify the info from the datasheet.

Bummer :) I was hoping for a large database, that I didn't know of. But thanks for helping in the first place.

Leo Bodnar, did you have a lookup table for this?
