Identifying the LCD
« on: October 21, 2013, 05:49:48 pm »
Hello there, fellow EEVBlog forum users!
I've been digging out random phones, and i found this:
http://puu.sh/4VMzG.JPG
http://puu.sh/4VMxS.JPG
http://puu.sh/4VMBu.JPG
http://puu.sh/4VMCE.JPG
It's a 200x400 WQVGA display, but i have no idea on how to drive it, or what it is at all.
Can you guys help me identifying & bringing it back to life again? I really want to use it in my AVR scope project, because the closest thing we've got here in Belarus is ~32AUD, and it doesn't look that good, especially for the price.

Please re-scale your images!
They are huge and out of focus.

The LF logo is exclusive to Samsung and early Chimei LCD panels.

Take a look here. You'll probably want to use Google Translate or similar. Search the page for "LCD_S5230.zip". Should be of some help. I believe the LCD driver is PN S6D04D1.
