Increasing current capacity with XL6009 modules
« on: August 10, 2019, 04:52:31 am »
Hi, I am new to electronics. In one of an application, I want to boost 5v to 10v with a load current of around 1.8 amps, in which case the input current will be more than 4amps which is heating the XL6009 chip like anything and will definitely fry it up. XL6009 is capable of handling only 3 to 4A current. Is there a way, I can hook up these XL6009 modules in parallel so that they share the current between them?

i tried the following way of parallel operation but I observed that the current was still flowing more through one module and it was heating a lot while the other one was cool?
