| Info On Mystery Philips Caps |

Anybody know anything about these? They are supposedly ceramic. But I see them listed along with the Philips/Mullard "Tropical Fish" polyester caps on some online vendors. But the one pictured here are supposedly ceramic, 500v. Would love an actual model number or data sheet. |

Those are ceramic tube caps, vertical version. I remember them well, hope someone has an old databook lying around. |

Philips "Pin-up" caps, haven't seen one of those in a long while. Designed in the eary 60's for machine insertion, maybe just a way to get a smaller footprint radial package. Very cool, thanks. I wonder if I should use a few in a guitar amp build for treble/bright cacps or just frame this thing as art work? |
