Inline resistor IC
« on: May 11, 2019, 09:26:51 am »
I am using seven segment displays for a project I'm involved in. I have to connect resistors to each pins of the IC and my circuit is already is very complex. So, this complicates things even more. I once saw in internet somewhere, a inline resistor IC , that has resistor connected inline inside t. So, basically it can be used as a substitute. I can't find the  IC anywhere. What's the name of that IC? Could anyone help me?

You are looking for a resistor array, aka resistor network, they come in various packages, some look like ICs, some look like sideways smd resistors, some look like sil packages...

Have you considered using SMD resistors, like 0805-size or 0603-size. They are cheap, easy to obtain, small yet quite easily solderable by hand, and they do not require drilling for the wires.
