hello.
can you kindly tell me  What is the maximum safe ripple and noise output of usb power supplies that are used to charge smartphones before possible damage to the battery or electronic components ?
i searched a lot on the web but couldn't get an even general answer.
different recommended methods of ripple measurement like adding caps at the PSU output or not, made me even more confused.

IIRC the better ones are less than 100mVpp.
