5V Wall Warts in quantity Source?
« on: February 24, 2011, 02:48:35 pm »
Hi all,

Whats the cheapest 5V, 500ma- 1A power supplies people have seen out there?   I'm looking for maybe a 100 count for a project if the price is right  I've seen them as low in Marlin P. Jones for $1.50 for 100+

I can get USB 5v wall warts for $.99, but then I have to source USB cables

something like this, but I can go as low as 500ma...

Is there an easy way to take apart the USB wall warts? If so, do just that and solder a length of wire to it.
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.

It sounds like he wants to mass produce it so modifying an existing product is costly.
