IRC 10R 5905-66-012-6208 Adjustable Resistor - Help Datasheet
(1/1)
Kitesurfing:
Hi All,
We have two IRC 10R 5905-66-012-6208 Adjustable Resistors, and don't know the rated wattage.
Would anyone know the wattage or have the original datasheet.
I tried IRC (TT) and had no response after a month.
Any help would be great!!
Thanks in Advance

If in doubt, look for similar items to get a "feel" of its wattage.
Luckily, a nice seller on ebay has listed a similar item specified at 11 Ohm, 6.2A, including the scale/dimension of the item.

Check if the size of your adjustable resistor is similar to the listed item. If so, then you have the approximate wattage.

Thanks for suggestion. Based on that it approx 300W to 350W based on other similar Rheostats.
I'm happy for the moment, but I'll leave this open just in case some has the actual datasheet just to be 100%.
