Is anyone devoloping for ios or android using Qt?
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:24:46 pm »
I just started a small desktop application project that will be targeting windows and osx platforms using the Qt framework.  Has anyone here begun using it for android or ios?  I am interested in interfacing some hardware projects with mobile devices but would like to use c++ (rather than java or objective C) to create the gui.  I was just wondering if anyone could offer first impressions of the android/ios support of the tech preview in Qt 5.1.

Based on past experience (and some recent reviews) Qt is annoying slow and resource-intensive...

That's too bad, I'm really enjoying using Qt for desktop development.  Hopefully they can work out the bugs, being able to develop a GUI across different platforms is very attractive to me since It's not really my main area of focus.
