Is analytical sensitivity analysis still being used?

Is analytical sensitivity analysis still relevant for anything other than the simplest of circuits? and by that I mean, are people still doing partial derivatives and so on? or have we reached a point that it all just boils down to lots of Monte Carlo analysis runs?
