Hi,
I just browsing new chips and found this interesting beast
InnoSwitch3-Pro Family
Digitally Controllable Off-Line CV/CC QR Flyback Switcher IC
with Integrated High-Voltage Switch, Synchronous Rectification

It have digitally controlled CV/CC/CP over I2C and cost very little
It have output 3 V to 24 V up to 100W

So nice base for small lab supply, I dont need one, but awesome what you can get today in one package

Just wonder if it is silicon based integrated switcher do they use separate logic and power device chips or do they build it on same die ?

I can agree with you about way to two transistors at higher power levels, just need that high side driver

I dont see issue with digital feedback if whole controller is digital. When they have it good implemented. Or they use some way of DAC and analog control loop ? That make no sense with today computing speeds. Complete digital controllers are much more convenient in this way.

Nice chip. Just for now I looked at their design tool and managed to get an optimized 10W DC-DC supply with input voltage of 36-42V. Not risking to build a real mains AC-DC.
Interested in all design related projects no matter how simple, or complicated, slow going or fast, failures or successes
