Replacement for NDP6020P P-channel mosfet?
« on: December 09, 2021, 11:59:39 pm »
For years a go-to logic level P-channel mosfet was the NDP6020P in a hobbyist-friendly TO220 case that could be used with a breadboard without having to mount it in an adapter.  With a typical Vgs threshold of about 0.7V, and RDSon of about 75mOhms, it was perfect for even 3.3V systems.

Apparently this part has been discontinued.  I've looked, and can't find an equivalent replacement among the active parts, at least in a TO220.  Does anybody here know of one?  Actually, it doesn't have to be a TO220, but has to be insertable in a breadboard.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, but if you go to the actual listing, on the OnSemi version is says "this product is no longer being manufactured", and the other one is only available from Rochester.  In any case, OnSemi shows its status as "last shipments".  So it's not going to be available on an ongoing basis.
