PCB routing question

Hi,

Is it bad practice to route tracks to the side of an IC pin?
As shown in the picture:

It's fine. More concerning on that board - are you planning to use the pale blue as silkscreen? If so, it's awfully close to the pads.

What isn't fine is running from the side of one pad into the side of its neighbour. When you're inspecting, this can look like a solder bridge, and you'll waste time trying to 'fix' it. This is especially the case on fine pitch devices, where there's no solder mask between pins - then there really is a solder bridge, and it'll worry you every time you look at it.

Thx for the tips.
Regarding the silk screen I used KiCads stock footprints, but maybe they need some tweaking cause my plan is to use the blue as silkscreen.
