LM1881 Remove Sync from Video Output
« on: November 04, 2019, 08:12:59 pm »
Hi everyone.
I am making my own RGB cables for my games consoles and have been using the LM1881 to strip sync.

I have a question regarding the PlayStation 2. The signal is sync on green. So, I take the green signal to the input of the LM1881 and the clean sync output to SCART pin 20 (composite in).

The problem with this however is that there is still a sync signal present on the green pin. How would I clean the green signal to remove the sync leaving just the video?
Basically the opposite of the LM1881.

Ideally a solution with as little components as possible because it needs to fit inside the SCART connector.
