Help needed with Russian translation, to figure out this circuit

This schematic shows a security device, apparently intended for military uses. The inputs are 3 contacts on furthest left side denoted ?? (pf), ?? (LF) and the middle one being common ground(?). It mentioned they are for break wire. The outputs are sound emitter via a simple transformer oscillator , light and optionally a pyrotechnics sound maker. I am just interested to know how the circuit works. It says start by pushing switch B1 and B2, but then this action will short circuit the battery B ( if I am correct). This doesn't make sense. If you know russian, here is the circuit and the link for the description. Just ignore most of the text and get to the section on how the device works. Greatly appreciated.

Middle one near the speaker says "tlf"

It is hardly a professional design. You would probably be better off designing your own circuit to do whatever you want.

Lf anf Pf are the points where break wire is attached at one ends and the middle point is the common point for both wires, which upon breakage activates the device via the first transistor VT1

I don't think it's unprofessional. It's very old design with pnp transistors, which means designed for germanium BJTs. Transformer is used for lower transistor count.
