Load Sharing with TI UC2907
« on: September 13, 2019, 09:53:27 pm »
Hi all,
I have an application where I need to parallel several 30 VDC power supplies to a single load.  I've researched high and low and it looks like the only thing available off the shelf is the UC2907 IC from TI.  I've read the datasheet and even the application note provided and I'm still unsure how exactly to use the chip. I plan to OR the power supplies together through an OR controller I just haven't figured out how to get the supplies to share the current evenly. Each power supply has a sense feedback to boost their output (required for the chip to actually regulate each supply).

Does anyone have any experience with this chip and/or have any suggestions?
