Dear all,

I need to blend two audio signals and currently I am using just a simple linear potentiometer. However, I would prefer a solution with slow fade characteristic or at least equal power. For bass / guitar instruments there are a bunch of 16mm pots with MN taper available. I need something board mountable, 9mm vertical package (like ALPS RK09 vert. or Alpha RV09) with metal axis. These seem to be very hard to come by.
Can you advise for a manufacturer that has something like a dual non-parallel reverse log. in their portfolio?
See here for reference to MN taper.

Alternatively, can you point me towards a simple circuit that works with standard lin. or log. potentiometers and does not involve a bunch of extra components? I might be able to spare another one or two op-amps, but would prefer not to.

Thank you and kind regards!
