Title: Looking for suggestions on thermal design for Orange Pi case.
Post by: vgamesx2 on June 14, 2017, 03:11:21 pm
Alright so a while back I went and bought an orange pi one and decided I'd make my own enclosure for it, I've just now got around to it and I found an almost perfectly sized box for it from one of those cheap solar charge controllers.

Now, it has a very small heatsink and I also have a mini 5V fan for it and I want to know what the best way to configure it is? I was thinking something like this (see picture below) with the top of the board being an intake and the fan being an exhaust, is that suitable?
I can also just barely squeeze the fan in sideways.
