Hi everybody,

I've picked up some Allegro A1334 Hall Effect Angle Sensors at DigiKey. They were real cheap, 'cause they're obsolete. Allegro lists them as "last buy",  but DigiKey has still over 1,000 in stock, so why not.

I do have of course the datasheet, but that only describes the electrical properties of the A1334's SPI interface. Whenever it comes to actually talking to the chip via SPI it refers to an "appendix Programming Reference".

And I can't find that A1334 programming reference anywhere. I really searched everywhere (including Allegro's website of course). But the best hit I've ever got is the "A1335 Programming Manual" (A1335-Programming-Manual.pdf).

I don't know if Allegro hides that A1334 programming reference by purpose ('cause the chip is obsolete).

If anybody has the A1334 programming reference, could you please upload it here or post a link to it.

Pretty please!

Thanks! I've stumbled upon that one too. While I'm convinced they didn't reinvent the wheel (meaning the interface is probably very similar to the A1334), I really need to be sure to write exactly the right bits in the EEPROM (it's specified for just 10 write cycles or so), so experimenting is kinda out of the question.
