Difference between GAL 16V8B and 16V8D
« on: February 11, 2020, 03:05:01 pm »
I'm thinking of buying some 16V8 for the parts box... needed for future bodging of 5V projects

I see lots of 16V8D?   Are these the same as 16V8B?

Thanks in advance

They are functionally the same and use the same bitstream (JEDEC file). Programming is a bit different so make sure your programmer supports the exact part.

Thanks for the info.   Seems to be on the TL866A TL866CS list at http://www.autoelectric.cn/MiniPro/MiniProSupportList.txt

Fingers crossed.
