Are there any attempts to boost the current capability of LT3086? If so are there any gotchas? |

Thanks RES, I am aware of parallel operation of the regulator. I am thinking of an additional external current boost transistorso as to retain the nice features of the regulator but increase current from 2.something amps up to 50 amps. |

50 amps is crazy what are you trying to do? build a welder? |

Radio coms room... switch mode power supply is likely to affect the noise floor of the room. It needs to be linear power supply. |
