M205 glass fuse S-clip to piggyback a soldered in fuse?
« on: November 27, 2013, 02:29:57 pm »
Hi All
Has anyone ever seen or can point me in the direction to source a small S-shaped fuse holder clip that allows you to piggy back a soldered in M205 fuse that has blown with a standard M205 fuse?
The picture in the link below speaks a thousand more words than I can describe.

I am a HVAC tech with a vague understanding of electronics and on some of the inverter air con's that I work on the genius who designed them decided to use a soldered fuse in a place that really should have been a replaceable one. It frustrates me to change a board when only the fuse has blown. I have looked at buying pigtail lead fuses and then soldering in new fuses but they seem to be a difficult to find item in Australia. If I could find something like this it would save me time and the customer money which is always a good thing.
