I'm trying to make it so the Arduino Due is able to get wireless sketch uploads, as the title says.
There are lots of tutorials out there but only for the Arduino Uno, below is the link.
http://www.ladyada.net/make/xbee/arduino.htmlAfter doing research on this I now know a few more things. I first would like to get my idea out there and see if anyone thinks if it will work.A little bit of help with the analog circuitry if possible too would be amazing.
Off topic for once sec, I have been doing a lot of work with the Arduino Uno and now the Due, I have built and designed a BLDC motor controller(using the L6235) that works with the Arduino as a position controller.
I know that the Arduino Due uses another µC the ATMEGA16U2-MU to control the ERASE and RESET pins of the ATSAM3X8EA-AU for when using the IDE to upload a sketch.
My plan is to use an XBEE S2 with zigbee networking on it in API mode to control the boards and also do the wireless uploading of the sketch.
The ATSAM3X8EA-AU needs to have the erase pin held high for over 220mS for it to do an erase of the flash. This next part is an assumption (Probably not a good one) that I need to then reset the device to let the sketch be uploaded.
I have included a picture of what the erase and reset pins have to do.
I was thinking that I could use a few capacitors, transistors and resistors to get this to work but I have found out how hard it really is to do things without a µC.
Also Dave if you see this, found your YouTube videos about 6 months ago and can't get enough of them.
