MAX232 BAKCKPOWERING RAIL
« on: August 20, 2019, 07:10:28 am »
Hello Guys

Does someone face issue of standard MAX232 driver back powering the power rail?
Anyway, my IC was SP232. The issue comes as follows.
#1 When I connect my RS232 ports to the device without powering the device on, The SP232 will not back power.
#2 But when I remove the power of the device with RS232 still connected, the SP232 is back powering.
#3 When I put a 100 ohm load on the back powering rail this back powering is turned off.
# My RX voltage was around -5.85 Voltage and back powering rail was around 2.45 volt enough to power the led.
