Measuring current and voltage phase difference.

 I have this load that is completely capacitive, but I want to see how the current and voltage phase changes as the load changes. I would use a current probe, but everything is on a pcb, so there is no wire to wrap around. Any ideas on how I can measure this?

Hall effect sensor?

The classic method is to cut a track and solder on a little loop of wire to clip onto.

If you can’t do that and there isn’t much room, the AIM TTI iProber can directly measure current in a trace. It’s helpful, but very susceptible to external magnetic fields (eg you get DC offset from your steel table leg) and the gain varies with how you hold it.
