How it blinks?

Recently, i have bought Christmas lights, I don't understand how they blink without capacitor, any idea?

hello

just a guess: there is a small capacitor in the 3 pins component.
it forms a high frequency oscillator that's divided down to the blink rate.

The part labelled 706 is an LED flasher IC. There are LEDs available, with it built-in.
