MHV or SHV ?
« on: March 22, 2019, 06:33:58 pm »
Hi, just looking to see if someone can help confirm which type of connectors these are (attached). They are fitted to a 3kv PSU, I think they are MHV, although I'm told they are SHV.

SHV would protrude more though, so I'm fairly sure they are MHV, I just want to check.

Could of course still be BNC, but I did try one and it wouldn't go on. Unless it is a very tight fit.

a photo showing side view of the plug would be nice.

Agreed, a side view would be helpful. Unfortunately I don't have one, and I don't have the kit with me at the moment.

Hi there,

this is MHV.
SHV has (wrt BNC and MHV) the inner connector pieces exchanged between male and female connectors.

Cheers,
 Jonathan
