Title: Microwave AutoCook (temperature?) Sensor - What is it exactly?
Post by: ornea on August 01, 2017, 04:23:06 am
Removed what appears to be the AutoCook sensor from a low price microwave oven that died. See images attached.

Trying to work out how it ticks.

I have tried various DHT protocols with no response.

Also Hooked up as follows:-

Red-5V
Black-Gnd
White to scope.

Trace sits at approx 1.8V with no deviation when pointing at a hot cup of water.

Tried pull-ups, pull-downs.

Various googles of images with no hits.

Anyone have any idea how these work or how to wire them up.

Cheers

Hi Someone,

Google searches I did hinted at humidity but I have yet to find any info on how they work or how to hook them up.

I also failed to get any hits on image match.
