Motorola SC415008FN4?
« on: November 15, 2013, 12:36:09 am »

Hello, Collective Wisdom.

I recently tore-down a c2002 Blaupkunt Color TV that I inherited (previous owners left the huge bastard for us to dispose of).  Anyhow, not too much of interest in there apart from the PLCC mentioned above, the Motorola SC415008FN.  It is sitting next to a 128k UV-prog PROM so I assume that it is some kind of micro-controller, given that it is from the Big-M.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to track down a data sheet for the part.  Does anyone have any more info that they share?

TIA .. mark.

Chances are it's a custom chip -- "SC" is a Motorola prefix for a custom (or at least semi-custom) part.

Thanks, philpem.

I have come to that conclusion as well.  I suspect that it is some kind of standard core, likely 68k, with other bits and pieces attached.  Basically junk ;-)
