Board to board right angle smd connector

Hi everyone,

I always struggle finding new connectors.
Can anyone suggest me a board to board right angle smd connector? The pitch should be less than 2.54mm. 1.27mm would be nice.
Basically I want to attach two boards side by side so the connectors should also provide some kind of lock mechanism.

Additional hints are also very welcomed. How do you search for specific connectors? I usually use mouser which is the distributor I mostly use then I setup the filters and sort the results by price. But the results are kind of limited and this process doesn't seem very efficient to me. On the other hand using the website of the most famous brands (such as samtec, molex, te) leads me to the most expensive ones. I just want a cheap but (very?) specific connector 

edit: another requirement, the number of pins should be around 16 ~ 20, so double row would be most appropriate than single row

I have used edge connectors, where the mating board had copper fingers in the PCB pattern. (something like this http://radionics.rs-online.com/web/p/edge-connectors/7676904/) These may not be suitable if you have tight space requirements.

Another cheap solution is surface mount right-angle pin headers (http://radionics.rs-online.com/web/p/pcb-headers/7676730/).

I would be careful with going all surface-mount, if the connectors are taking a lot of force (from many detach-insert cycles) they may rip off the board.

Mouser and others have parametric searches

For example:

Connectors > Board to Board & Mezzanine Connectors Mounting Angle=Right Number of Rows=2 Number of Positions/Contacts: Multiple Values (16-20)

Resulting pitch on choices are 2mm then 1.27mm and under
