Gould os4000 dual beam not functioning! (HELP!!!!!!)

I Recently came into possession of a Gould 0S4000 CRT DSO, unfortunatly i can only get ch2 to display. I can trigger off of ch1 so im assuming that there is an issue with the Beam Selection or Assosciated hardware, My Knowledge is still rather lacking. I am still yet to check voltages as someone ran of camping with my multimeter but i have been tring to locate the issue with the service manual (Heres a copy it wont let me upload it, its to big) http://www.kevinchant.com/uploads/7/1/0/8/7108231/os4000manual.pdf  Any help would be greatly appreciated as i am now making it my lifes work to fix this, i can see it laughing at me already.
