Need description of SMA connector - unpopulated
« on: January 26, 2019, 02:36:48 pm »
Hey guys,

I need the name or description of the SMA connector shown in the pic - but I want to buy some without any component installed.

The one shown is a 50 ohm load. What is the name of the part if it has NO load or component installed? You can see the 50 ohm load is soldered in. Can they be bought "empty"?

Thanks!

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

That is an SMA connector for rigid or semi-rigid coax, nothing special.

OK thanks - wasn't sure but that was what I was leaning towards since the time I asked the question.  :)
