NEED DETAILS FOR DICK SMITH K3602 EA EPROM PROGRAMMER

(1/1)

simon christo:
Hi there! I'm looking for some details on the DICK SMITH kit K3602 from Electronics Australia Magazine, around the year 2000.
It's got 2X ZIF Sockets, one for reading and one for writing, it's for a parraell port too.If anybody has any details about it, let me know.Thanks Simon.

There's a thread in the Austech forum from 2009 here: https://www.austech.info/showthread.php/26919-Eprom-Programmer I couldn't see any resources to download, maybe you have to register first.

It sounds like this might be the same design: http://archive.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_30475/article.html

I picked up one of these units a few years ago. I don't have the article, but I believe it is from EA January 2000. Copies of the article would be available to order from Silicon Chip.

I have software from the 1994 design, although I haven't attempted to get it up and running, so not sure if it is compatible. Dave Jones also wrote some software for the 94 design.

I can help you out with component values if needed?

simon christo:
Hi again.Apparently, the 5.5MB PDF listed isn't on the net anymore! Anyway, I found some PCB numbers that may help;
EA 93eep7a for main PCB, and
ZA-1331 for LED,ZIF socket PCB.Thanks Simon.

greenpossum:
Maybe this matches what you have? http://www.evans-pure.net/
