Need help identifying 3000VA UPS and find manual
(1/1)
Bendba:
Hi,
I scored a 3000VA UPS at the scrap yards yesterday. I thought for $20, just the case, fans and salvageable parts would be worth it.
I couldn't resist the temptation to plug it in before tearing it apart. And surprise, it works. The batteries are dead but it works. I let it charge overnight, tested it with a 500W load, it ran for 10 minutes before the batteries gave up :-//
So I might just keep it and get some new batteries. That'd be handy with all the blackouts we get at home.
Or even use it as an inverter when I travel?
I'd like to identify it and find the user's manual for it (most particularly the details for the remote port at the back)
But when I search the model number online, I get nowhere.
Does anyone know what the brand could be?
Thanks in advance

I know this is a very old thread, and that none replied then.
I have exactly the same UPS, and it says Siemens on it. I was told S sold the UPS business to Chloride (batteries), but I do not know any more. Mine works too, have run through three sets of batteries.
Has anybody got any sort of manual or even specs?

According to this page: http://www.nestor.minsk.by/kg/1997/22/kg72212.htm
It could be a Powercom ONH-3000.
