I can usually help myself with this stuff, but this time I am stumped. Metal package 7.5x5.5mm with two legs, marking is "030 VJ9F". I think I recognise the logo, but can't remember what brand it is. Web searches turn up nothing. :-//

Fantastic, thank you! Was it the logo?

Yes, Littelfuse is a very common fuse brand.

But that’s not the Littelfuse logo. The datasheet you linked is an old one from before Littelfuse bought the polyswitch product line from TE (and is in fact old enough to list it as Tyco, not TE). Littelfuse still puts that logo on the product, but whose logo (or, as the datasheets call it, “manufacturer’s mark”) is it?

I really don't know where Tyco Electronics got this logo, but we all know it's so popular that Littelfuse is still willing to keep it on products.
