Hi All,

I would like to find (or build) an open source system that can read and decode RFID chips that conform to ISO 11784-11785 FDX-B.
I've looked at an EM4095 based system that uses an ESP8266 or ESP32 for decoding the received signal:

https://github.com/Crypter/EM4095 (ESP8266)
https://github.com/asetyde/EM4095 (ESP32)

The problem is that I'm unable to source the EM4095 from the vendors I usually get my parts from (Farnell, mouser, digikey, rs-components). Does anybody know an alternative IC that functions more or less the same as the EM4095?

I've also found the following schematics made from discrete parts:
http://playground.arduino.cc/Main/DIYRFIDReader
http://www.gizmolab.co.za/universal-rfid-reader/

Cheers,
Cedric
