TL/DR: I am trying to find a compatible connector. See picture.

Hi folks,

just like many other people, I am currently stuck in my "home office". I have a chair, my desk is okay, but the picture I get from my 10 year old potato webcam really makes me cringe. I do own a Nikon D600, but if I want to use it as a webcam stand-in, I really need to power it externally, otherwise I'm limited to the runtime of the factory battery, which is 6+ years old.
There was an accessory battery grip (which I do not have), but the connector (image attached) should be great to power the cam externally. I've tried using digikey - but I could not even identify the right category.

Can anybody help me to find a compatible connector?

Just so you know, I am aware, that I can just connect an external power supply to the battery terminals, and I've been working on a printable 3d model of the battery to achieve just that, but that requires the battery door to be removed or stay open - I'd like a "plug-and-play" solution.

Any help appreciated.

Why so complicated or have I missed something?

Nikon's copy cat solution, for example,

Can guarantee that's a custom connector. Your best bet would be to:
  • Use an adapter like olkipukki suggested
  • Find a cable that fits the connector and splice it up

I've been looking at those, but they are a hassle to use. They require the battery door to be removed (which will wear out the mechanism) or left open (which restricts the mounting solutions I can use). I'd really like a solution that is easy to remove the camera from, so that I can just grab it, put the battery back in and to shoot some pictures.

I've dreaded that.

So I should probably buy something like this and tear into that to connect an external power supply.

No issues for me.
I'm using the adaper with a camera on a tripod only, still need to detach it if would like take it back to my hands.
