CVBS/YPbPr video output for an iMX6S processor
« on: May 07, 2013, 03:54:17 pm »

Hi guys,

I'm designing a system based on iMX6S processor and it has to support a CVBS/YPbPr video interface output. The MCU has several video interfaces but all of them are digital: parallel display, HDMI1.4, MIPI and LVDS interface. For the moment, I’m thinking in use the CH7106A converter from Chrontel.

Anybody know an alternative solution?

Thanks!

You will need an ISP in between your video source and the imx6.

Connect some DACs to the parallel output? Depending on the video quality requirements, a few resistors might be good enough.
