| Non-plated hole on an SMD Pad in Eagle Autodesk? |

Hi, I'm trying to make a footprint on Eagle for the following component (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/LAMA2-14-QY/298-10109-ND/317639/?itemSeq=298643028) and I'm thinking of doing an SMD pad with a through hole in it. However, I'm not sure how to do a through hole in an SMD pad. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can achieve this? Thanks. |

If there is a hole, it's not SMD pad. I don't use Eagle but in general I would make rectangular/custom shape TH pad or make opening in solder mask around regular TH pad. |

5 seconds of googling. |

Thanks man... I think I might have been googling it bad.. thanks again! appreciate your help |

I misread your question a bit in regards of non-plated. But first of all there is no reason making non plated hole in pad for this. Secondly, if you will will make a hole in pad without any gap between hole and copper, PCB fab will make plated hole anyway. |
