Hi,
I'm currently developing a battery shield for a small micro controller board. I found the TP5410 used in many of the LiPo charger/booster boards you can get via ebay and it seems like a good solution. But as this chip is currently unavailable (I try sourcing from LCSC) I looked for an alternative and found the TP5400, which seems to be a functionally identical IC at first glance, save a few differences in external components.
Is anyone around here familiar enough with these ICs to explain what the difference is between the two? The datasheet is in Mandarin of course and even with valiant help of Google translate it's difficult to tell what discerns these two.
The TP5400 seems to be an older, potentially obsolete chip, though from looking at the internal structure according to the data sheet there isn't any fundamental difference with the TP5410.
TIA
Matthias
