Mini High Voltage Supply for Tube based Modular Synth
« on: April 05, 2014, 01:31:39 am »
So I'm trying to build a small module for a future planned modular synthesizer that will use tubes. I'm trying to design a basic small switching supply that can make about 100V at about 10ma, which will be regulated using two 51V zeners. This could use a 555 timer in a boosting configuration of some sort, and I plan on powering it from 12V. I could also use 15V, but basically I just need to take 12-15V DC and step it up to 100V at 10mA with a simple circuit. To be quite honest I don't really know where to start, there's to many options on this one. I'm trying to build this: http://www.schmitzbits.de/vtvco2.html

A one or two chip solution will also work really fine too...
