PCB Holder for SMD assembly - 3D Printed edition
(1/1)
Jay_Diddy_B:
Hi,
A few years ago I shared my design for a PCB holder:
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/pcb-holder-for-smd-assembly-microscope/msg531502/#msg531502
The original version was built from aluminium and really required a milling machine to make it.
Here is an updated version that can be built with a 3D printer.
The design was done in Fusion 360, exported to STL and printed in PLA.

The parts were printed with the 1/4- 20 thread. It was necessary to clean the threads with a tap after printing. No other processing was needed.
Fusion Files I have attached the Fusion 360 files for anybody who wants to build their own. You may want to change the thread to metric, depending where you live.
